Nós podemos usar pelo menos três formas para transmitir essa idéia equivalente no inglês. Podemos dizer das seguintes formas:
- To blab. Ex.: I’m not gonna blab it! [Não vou dar com a língua nos dentes!]
- To tattle. Ex.: Watch your mouth and don’t tattle it! [Cuidado com o que diz e não dê com a língua nos dentes]
- To spill the beans. Ex.: She spilled the beans. [Ela deu com a língua nos dentes.]

Vejamos cada uma separadamente:
Blab / blæb / verb [intransitive or transitive] INFORMAL
To tell people about something that should be kept secret:
Ex.: I didn’t think you’d go blabbing the story all over town. [Não achei que você sairia contando a história na cidade inteira]
Tattle / tætl / verb [intransitive]
To tell someone that another person has done something bad, usually in order to get them in trouble. This word is usually used by or about children and shows that you dislike people who do this: TELL ON:
Ex.: Tammy immediately tattled on her sister. [Tammy imediatamente dedurou sua irmã]
Spill the beans
Tell a secret to someone who is not supposed to know about it. Ex.: Please don’t spill the beans! [Por favor, não dê com a língua nos dentes!]
