Sig.: Como sabemos, a preposição “off”, carrega o sentido negativo de fuga. No phrasal verb MAKE OFF nós temos o significado de “sair correndo”, especialmente no sentido de fuga. Seu uso é INFORMAL e tem como sinônimos dash off, take off, run off, run away, etc.
