To pay someone the money that you owe them. [Pagar alguém o dinheiro que você lhe deve]
Ex.: Pay me back another time. I don't need the money just now. [Me pague depois. Eu não preciso do dinheiro agora]
Ex.: Only borrow the money if you're sure you'll be able to pay it back. [Peça dinheiro emprestado apenas se você tiver certeza de que poderá devolvê-lo.]
